Our Standard

All published content on ReadMyWriting must be safe for reading aloud in an American high school classroom (grades 9-12). This is our universal standard.

Prohibited Content

• Explicit sexual content or sexual innuendo
• Graphic violence or gore
• Profanity or vulgar language
• Drug or alcohol use glorification
• Self-harm or suicide references
• Hate speech, discrimination, or slurs
• Bullying or harassment scenarios
• Real-world political propaganda
• Religious proselytizing
• Personally identifiable information

Moderation Process

All content goes through a multi-stage moderation pipeline before publishing: AI safety checks during generation, automated content review, profanity scanning, and human review for flagged content. Content that doesn't meet our standards is returned to the author with specific feedback for revision.

Reporting

If you encounter published content that violates this policy, you can report it using the report button on any published work. Reports are reviewed by our team within 24 hours.
